Overview

David provided comprehensive commercial management for critical infrastructure diversions (gas, water, electrical, and external civils) for a High Security Client in the Boscombe Down area. This support spanned RIBA Stages 4 & 5, encompassing contract administration with a circa £1 million value. Key responsibilities included NEC4 contract negotiations, scope definition, payment applications, variation management, and internal stakeholder reporting.

Key tasks involved measuring and costing various diversions works and trenching requirements which fed into programming. There was a requirement for detailed planning and allowances for different ground types, hand dig areas and sufficient review of existing service drawings and other site hazards.
